Hi everyone, I know I'm talking to wind right now, but I also know soon it won't be that way, and I will be talking to alot of IB's (Indig beauties) who want and deserve much better love, finance and happier lives...
I just want to say the reason I am calling us IBs instead of blk women is because I've learned alot over the yrs incl. why the term black is so detrimental and silly to use. I've learned we were ALWAYS here, We are the orig ppl of this land and that blk was a label put upon us to demean and diminish us. I have not used it in yrs and don't plan to ever again. Esp since we are obviously NOT blk. Everyone you and I know are shades of BROWN. Actual blk skin is almost non existent and under law it means Non existent, and having NO legal rights... If you guys have never listened to Dane Calloway or Sosolinha, please go listen to them, this will all make better sense afterwards....
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Sara. I'm an older woman now, and I've learned a lot along the way, and I'd like to pass it on to the younger gen.. You know time is NEVER on our side. I just lost someone who was barely 30 to the big C. I can't even bring myself to spell it out. It's too raw right now. But I'm starting the blog so all my good information goes on to all you young IBs and does not get wasted...
So just want to make some of my beliefs known, so they are clarified...
It does not matter whether you love Interracially or Monoracially as long as it's a GOOD MAN. I know alot of you may have been hurt by brothers (Ibrs) probably because they are often spoiled in our community to their detriment, and OURS. but hopefully, they'll wake up, if not plenty of other men out there in the global village....
So anyway, this is a brand new blog and have to work out the bugs but it's great to be here, and hope all you Indig beauties are having a great day..😄
